What we collect

Account details (name, email, mobile number, city and area), pet profiles and health records you enter, appointment and payment records, consult chat messages and any photos you attach, and — for veterinarians — practice details and the licence document you upload.

Why we use it

To run the service: match you with vets serving your city, take bookings, process payments, deliver consults, keep your pet's medical history, send reminders, verify veterinarians, and handle support and disputes.

Who can see what

Your pets and records are visible to you, and to a veterinarian only once you have booked a consult with them. Consult chats and notes are visible only to the pet owner and that vet. Licence documents are visible only to the vet who uploaded them and to PawPoint reviewers. Access is enforced at the database level with row-level security.

Service providers

We use third parties to host the application and database, to process payments, and to send notifications over WhatsApp, SMS and email. They receive only the data needed to perform their function.

Retention

Medical records are kept while your account is active so your pet's history stays intact. Payment records are retained as required for accounting. You can request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by emailing privacy@pawpoint.pk; we will confirm within 30 days.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored on managed cloud infrastructure with access controls. No system is perfectly secure; report a suspected vulnerability to security@pawpoint.pk and we will respond.

Your choices

You can edit your profile, remove pets and records, and opt out of non-essential notifications from your account page. Transactional messages about a booking cannot be switched off while the booking is active.
