1. Who we are
PawPoint is a veterinary telehealth platform operating in Pakistan. We connect pet owners with independently licensed veterinarians. PawPoint is a technology platform — we do not practise veterinary medicine and we do not employ the vets on the platform.
2. Not for emergencies
PawPoint is not an emergency service. If your animal is collapsed, bleeding heavily, struggling to breathe, seizing, has a suspected poisoning, bloat, or cannot urinate, go to a physical clinic immediately. See our emergency guidance.
3. Accounts
You must be 18 or older and provide accurate information. Veterinarians must supply a valid licence/registration number and supporting document, and can only accept bookings once PawPoint has verified them. You are responsible for activity on your account.
4. Bookings and payment
Each vet sets their own consult fee in Pakistani Rupees. You see the fee before you book. A booking holds the slot; the appointment is confirmed once payment is completed or, where the pay-at-consult option is offered, once the vet accepts. PawPoint retains a platform commission from each consult fee; the balance is settled to the veterinarian.
5. Cancellations
Cancellations follow our refund policy. In short: cancel more than 2 hours before the start time for a full refund; later than that, 50% is retained. If the vet cancels, you are refunded in full.
6. Clinical responsibility
Advice, assessments and prescriptions are the professional responsibility of the treating veterinarian, not PawPoint. A vet may decline to prescribe remotely and refer you to a physical examination. Follow all instructions given, and seek in-person care if your pet deteriorates.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the platform: no abusive behaviour toward vets or owners, no fraudulent bookings or payments, no sharing another person's medical or personal information, and no recording of consults without consent. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by Pakistani law, PawPoint's liability arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the consult in question. We do not warrant uninterrupted service — video quality depends on your internet connection.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, with courts in Karachi, Sindh having jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in the app. Continuing to use PawPoint after a change means you accept the updated terms.
